Comfort among the mountains

I stood there, in that place that made me feel so safe, dazzled by the rays of sunshine that hit my face and made my eyes brighter. I was alone but I felt fuller than ever. I wanted to finish that walk even though I was under a bit of pressure because it wasn't easy. Even though everyone assumed I was capable of it. But suddenly, something made all those thoughts disappear. So unfocused on my own thing, I didn't realise that I was passing a path full of rocks that made me fall and my nose started to bleed. For a moment I felt immobile. Thanks to my perseverance and irresistible desire to contemplate the gift that nature gives us, I kept going and finished that five-day route with a huge smile on my face.
