So, being the 15th anniversary of the event It would not be surprising if many runners were able to get their race bibs during the first few hours.

In keeping with the decision taken in recent years, the organisers have limited the number of bibs in order to guarantee the smooth running of the race and to minimise the impact on the natural environment of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park.1,200 numbers will be available for the Ultra and Marathon distance, 900 for the Half Distance and 200 for the Nit Pirineu.

Racing into the future in an unprecedented natural environment

The Salomon Ultra Pirineu team continues to move into the future, implementing the key values of its slogan.

Since its first edition, it has adopted a strong environmental policy with the aim of minimising its impact on the Natural Park. This includes measures such as limiting capacity, cleaning the trails after the race, selecting a date outside the breeding season for local fauna and using pre-existing trails. In addition, runners are asked not to deviate from the marked trails. These actions have contributed to the fact that the post-race reports carried out by the Natural Park indicate an almost imperceptible environmental impact.

The organisation not only works closely with runners, sponsors and local entities to promote the reduction, reuse and recycling of material, but has also achieved remarkable results in terms of waste management. For example, in the 2021 edition, a 74% reduction in waste generated was achieved compared to the previous year, with a total of 1,300 kg of waste collected. These were distributed into 19% of organic materials, 23% of packaging, 19% of paper and cardboard, and 38% of waste, exceeding the organisation's expectations in terms of sustainability.
