    Situation:

    Aragonese Pyrenees and Department of the French Hautes-Pyrénées, headwaters of the Valleys of PinetaChisagüés and Troumouse (Gavarnie).


    When to go:

    The most appropriate time is August, especially from the French side.


    Difficulties of the route:

    Medium difficulty, especially on the French route.


    Complicated sections:

    - All three routes (through the Pineta, Chisagüés and Troumouse valleys) have a grade II pass, the French route has one more beforehand.
    - The routes on the Aragonese side are long, about 6 hours, and require a good physical condition, only 4 hours on the French side.


    Recommended equipment:

    - Equipment for roping up and rappelling on the descent.
    - Sunglasses and sunscreen.
