French Pyrenees

The Haute Pyrénées, the French Pyrenees offer you a wide variety of natural, cultural and sporting attractions.

In this area, located near the border between Spain and France, you can visit places such as the Pyrenees National Park, Lourdesthe medieval city of Argelès-Gazost, Tarbes or Gavarnie.

The French Pyrenees are the ideal environment for hiking enthusiasts, with over a hundred kilometres of fully signposted trails where you can enjoy authentic nature.

If you want to enjoy adventure sports, all you have to do is go to Saint Lary, the main point of concentration for activities such as the rafting, hydrospeed or canyoning.

Catalan Pyrenees

This part of the Pyrenees includes the counties of l'Alt Empordà, l'Alt Urgell, l'Alta Ribagorça, el Berguedà, la Garrotxa, la Cerdanya, el Pallars Jussà, el Solsonès, el Pallars Sobirà, el Ripollès and la Vall d'Aran.

One of the main attractions in this area of the Pyrenees is the National Park of Aigüestortes and Sant Maurici. It is perhaps the best place in the mountain range to lose yourself among lakes and lakeside lakes, walking in the high mountains.

Moreover, the gastronomy of this area is another reason to visit this territory located in the north of Catalonia and close to the border with France.

Aragonese Pyrenees

Pyrenees of Navarre

This part of the Pyrenees is characterised by its natural and cultural purity and variety. As natural jewels, we highlight the Irati ForestSorogain and the Lumbier gorges. We should also highlight the Belagua valley and the Leyre mountain range.

The valleys of the Roncal and Salazar valleys are well worth a visit to stroll through their peaceful villages and enjoy the landscape and tranquillity. Especially Ochagavía, in the latter valley.

In addition, special mention should be made of the municipality of Roncesvalles, an emblematic pass of the The Way of St. James.

Finally, if you have the chance, visit one of the fifteen hórreos (raised granaries) that are preserved in the area, in places such as Villanueva de Aezkoa, Aribe, Aria, Orbaizeta, Garaioa and Garralda.
