The Ventamillo Gorge or Congosto de Ventamillo closes the access to the Benasque valley from the south. It is a three-kilometre long gorge with impressive vertical limestone walls. It is an ideal route for hiking between the towns of El Run and Seira, and it is possible to start the route in either of them. The route goes around the gorge on both banks at a considerable height and follows a circular route with significant slopes and unbeatable views of the cliffs, the valley of the Ésera and the Maladetas massif.

The Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park offers dozens of routes. Today we propose a circular hike along the Faja de Racón (the narrow path at the foot of the vertical walls that border the Carriata and Cotatuero cirques) with a route of about 8 kilometres where you can enjoy breathtaking views.

We can say that this is a basic excursion in the Aragonese Pyrenees. We are going to tell you about two routes, the one we consider to be easier and suitable for the whole family and the other that requires a little more time and effort. Both routes start at the Sansanet car park and reach the Estanés lake.
