• In this episode, I immerse myself in the alpine landscapes of the Catalan and Andorran Pyrenees. I reach the summits of the Sotllo (3073 m), Comapedrosa (2942 m), Puigpedrós (2912 m), Puigmal (2910 m) and els Bastiments (2881 m). Throughout my journey, I stop at mountain huts, such as the one at Broate or Baiauexploring villages in Andorra and CerdanyaI also visit emblematic places such as Arinsal, la Cortinada, Puigcerdà and Llivia. Hello again! 👋 Today I bring you the

Greetings from over 2200m altitude! 👋 After 30 days of walking on my Travesía Pirinaica, I find myself in the wildest heart of the Catalan Pyrenees. In this new episode I tackle numerous peaks and cols, some of them reaching heights of over 3000 metres, a thrilling high altitude odyssey!

In this instalment, I venture on the ascent of the Sotllo Peak and the ambition to crown the Pica d'Estatsthe highest peak in Catalonia. Starting from the alpine refuge of BroateThe fog surrounds me, giving me one of those humbling moments when I decide to postpone the ascent of the Pica and head towards Andorra. The mountain will always be there!

After crossing the border with our neighbouring country, the challenges do not stop, as I decide to also climb the Comapedrosathe highest peak in Andorra. During 3 stages I cross this small paradise for mountain lovers and return to Catalonia. I take the opportunity to pick mushrooms, continue conquering peaks like the Puigpedrós and visit Llívia. From this village, in the Cerdanya region, I face the Puigmal of 2917 m to reach the sanctuary of Nuria by an unconventional route of the GR.

Finally, I bid farewell to the Pyrenees and the episode with a final high mountain challenge: a ridge that crowns the Pyrenees. seven peaks in a single stage: Vaca, Infern, Freser, Bastiments...
