    Lizara - Canfranc Station

    ↔️ Distance: 22.1 km
    📈 Unevenness (+1.030), (-1.350) 📉
    🕒 Time: 7h20min (walking time non-stop)
⚠️ Difficulty: The stage was uneventful except for the elevation and distance.

📌 (0h0min; 0kms) Lizara (1.540m). We cross the plain of Lizara, leave the La Chorrota waterfall to the left and gradually begin to climb higher. The forest shelter of Cueva is left to the right; from here there will be no rest until…

📌 (1h10min; 3.5kms) Collado del Bozo (2.019m). The view opens to the other side over the Llena del Bozo and the Llena de la Garganta. The path descends towards a plateau where we locate the ibon of Izagra. We cross the cubilar in a direction to the East without descending to the plains of Napazal and we continue along the middle slope to avoid losing altitude. We cross the cordal that descends from the Aspe and we open the view over the Rigüelo and the Mallos de Lecherín. We head towards the visible…

📌 (3h45min; 9.2kms) Collado de la Magdalena (2.043m) As far as a trail from the Collado de la Sieira goes. As soon as we pass the Collado, we find the López Huici refuge. We continue down the Lecherín Alto ravine and the Lecherín Bajo ravine, where we find another refuge with a spring. The path enters the Campón ravine to then leave it to go up to the Collado de la Sieira…

📌 (5h20min; 14.8kms) Gabardito ravine (1,520m) where we find another refuge. Shortly after, a sign indicates a variant route that we can use to reach Canfranc via the Aguare ravine, passing through a section equipped with pegs. Although the sign warns that the route is difficult, it is not that difficult. If we don't want any surprises, we follow the signage and continue down the track until the markings disappear and we take a path that descends directly to Canfranc through the Añaza canyon.

📌 (6h20min; 18.4kms) Canfranc (1045m). We cross the village through the main street (Calle Albareda) until we leave it again on the road, next to the bus stop and the «Puente de Arriba». A sign indicates Canfranc Estación; the path coincides in this stretch with the Camino de Santiago (GR65.3), although in the opposite direction. We cross the bridge; there is a small car park. From here, several of the most popular ascents in this area begin: Collarada, La Moleta or Pala de Ip. We continue to the left along the wide path, which we soon abandon to follow it on foot to the left. We ascend gently along the left bank of the river💧 Aragón, we pass by a waterfall (Baranco de Ip), continue climbing, we see the Torre de Fusileros on the other side of the river and begin to descend to cross the river.💧 under a large prey💧. We climb up the road and continue along it until...
