Trail Hunters

-by Miguel Ángel Rupérez Gargallo-

Torla, at dawn, mid-October, the morning is cool. It is 08:15 and the first rays of sunshine are already here, the day is expected to be fine; perfect for appreciating the autumn colours.

We start our route, the emotion is palpable, nature shows its magic, the symphony of colour begins, red, gold and ochre tones stain everything. Beeches, birches, oaks, pines and firs appear majestic before the cold winter.

The path begins steeply, the slope is steep. The forest is lord and master, accompanied by the beautiful song of the lark we reach the Calcilarruego viewpoint, our breath is calmed and we can contemplate what is before us, BEAUTY; if Princess Pyrene is buried somewhere, it must be here, in Ordesa, protected by this limestone massif and embraced by the beauty of this valley.

We, trail hunters, feel here, harmony, peace and LIFE.
