    -by Llorenç Pinsach Elías-

This weekend I decided to climb to the top. I am looking at different references on the net. Duration, there and back, about six hours. I don't pay attention to the difficulty. I review the map and try to memorise the route so as not to waste time. The day arrives. I start walking. Six hours. I pick up the pace. Six hours. Quickly, my brain processes the information that comes to it from my eyes to avoid the obstacles I come across and to avoid the obstacles I encounter.
accidents. At the top, I don't linger long. Six hours. I try to descend as quickly as possible. Finally, exhausted, I reach the starting point. Five and a half hours. Challenge accomplished.

At home I reflect and try to remember. Have I noticed the scent and colour of the beech forest? Have I listened to the stream rushing down the high valley? Have I noticed the elegance of the path winding up to the summit? Have I observed the deep green of the alpine meadows? Have I recognised any of the mountains and ranges that can be seen from the summit?

I don't remember much. But I managed to break the record.

Don't miss any adventure in the Pyrenees!
