1. Route of the Huesca footbridges.
In the province of Huesca you have the possibility of travelling along one of the routes of hiking in Aragon more varied and with more options for activities along the route. The walkway route is located in the pre-Pyrenean area, in the Sierra y los Cañones de Guara Natural Park. What characterises the walkways route are its chasms, caves and canyons, and it is the ideal place for water trekking and canyoning. 2. Path of the Hunters.
La Senda de los Cazadores is located in the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido, in one of the most renowned places in the Ordesa Valley, which has been given the name of the famous Cola de Caballo (Horse's Tail) because of its impressive waterfall. Precisely to reach the Cola de Caballo, there are several routes of great beauty so that you can enjoy the route in the Ordesa Valley. One of these routes is the Senda de los Cazadores (Hunters' Path), which allows you to contemplate the whole valley in all its splendour, detailing every little nook and cranny in minute detail. The path starts at the Ordesa meadow, from where you cross the Puente de los Cazadores (Hunters' Bridge), where the route starts to climb steeply upwards until you reach the Caliclarruego viewpoint. This is the highest point, reaching some 2000 metres, and you will have a beautiful panoramic view of the whole valley. Along the route you can enjoy magical spots such as the Gradas de Soaso and the Estrecho and Arripas waterfalls.
3. San Blas, El Arquillo reservoir in Teruel.
Among the routes of hiking in Aragon The most attractive is undoubtedly the San Blas route in Teruel. It is located in the rural district of San Blas, about 7 km from Teruel, where along the route you will follow the Guadalaviar River. The path is of easy difficulty, and is conditioned to run along the river bank until you reach the area known as the city reservoir. The route is characterised by being a very pleasant walk through the riverside vegetation as you contemplate the majestic reservoir of El Arquillo. It is an ideal route for the whole family at any time of the year.
4. Monasterio de Piedra Natural Park Route, Zaragoza.
Located in the Monasterio de Piedra Natural Park in Zaragoza, this is a fairly easy route of approximately two and a half hours, which is of enormous natural beauty, as it runs through one of the most beautiful spots in Spain, full of waterfalls, caves and lakes. The route has an added bonus: along the way you can see a 12th-century Cistercian monastery, which is protected by an imposing medieval wall that is surprisingly well preserved. So as well as filling your lungs with fresh air and delighting your eyes with the beauty of the place, you'll also get to know part of the history and culture of Zaragoza during the route.
5. Rubiales, El Campillo in Teruel.
The Rubiales route is a 6 km trail that runs through the south of the city of Teruel, and links various rural neighbourhoods with the GR 10 trail located in the town of Rubiales and then enters the Sierra de Albarracín. The itinerary is of medium difficulty, presenting constant ascents and descents linking the area of Agrimales and La Balsa del Pinar de Rubiales. The natural beauty of the route is indisputable, where you will enjoy a natural environment full of pine trees and incredible views. If you do the route in autumn, you can take advantage of the opportunity to collect the coveted and tasty "rebollones turolenses", very famous in the area. Although it is a hilly route, you don't need to be in great physical condition to do it.
6. El Pozo Pigalo in Luesia in Zaragoza.
In the province of Zaragoza, specifically in the municipality of Luesia, you will find the Pozo Pigalo on the banks of the river Arba. It is a beautiful natural pool, in which very few can resist diving into its crystal-clear waters surrounded by waterfalls, oak and pine forests. The proposed route is not to reach the Pozo Pigalo, as access to the well is very easy, you can even get there by car from Luesia, following the A-1202 road. However, once you get to Pozo Pigalo, you will see that there are several hiking routes to discover other wells along the course of the river Arba. For example, in the area you will find hiking routes to reach the Poza de Santa María, which is much less visited, and both the route and the well will leave you open-mouthed. This hiking route is not very difficult, as it is not very steep and is only 2.5 kilometres long, so it can be done with the whole family and you will have a great time, discovering quieter pools of great natural charm.
