Premonition

-I'm fine," I replied.
It had been days since I had seen another person, and just then, as I was trying to rest sitting on a rock in the middle of that lonely mountain range, another mountaineer appeared.
Escaping from the everyday, following my dreams, walking restlessly through those valleys and hills, I had believed for too long that I had managed to forget the demons that lived in the depths of my mind. Thinking that everything was starting to go well.
But it wasn't like that. I had endured too much, in life and on the road. And nothing seemed to have changed.
-I'm fine," I repeated.
But there was no one there.
I was lonely and tired as it started to get dark all around me...
