8000 kisses

The bookshop was opposite the bar where he was to make the last delivery of the morning. Thank goodness! He almost didn't make it to the presentation. He couldn't wait to give the gift to his wife, he loved the mountains so much! And he greatly admired this woman who had conquered the 14 eight-thousanders. The first woman to do so. But for him, the first and most special of all was his own. She was so small and so strong! She was lying on the sofa. Resting, gazing out of the window at those mountains, not so high, but so dear to his village, now covered with a light layer of snow. He saw her daydreaming. Affectionate glances. Kisses. The book on her newly structured chest. "Soon we'll be climbing those mountains again."
