Who's Who in the Mountain: The content and community benchmarks I follow in 2026

    Pyrenees and mountains 📩

    Here 🔥

If you are new here, my name is Eduardo Azcona. I have been involved in the mountains practically all my life and, since 2011, I have been sharing what I have learned through Travesía Pirenaica, one of the reference communities on long-distance trekking and the Pyrenees. During these years I have helped thousands of people to prepare routes such as the GR11, always from real experience: planning, light material, route efficiency and mountain safety.

Today, moreover, the impetus Outsiders, A community for those who want to move lighter, go further and build a solid physical and mental base for trekking and fastpacking, without gimmicks, without ego and without shortcuts.

In Travesía Pirenaica we always say that the mountain is climbed with the legs, but prepared with the head. In a crowded digital ecosystem, knowing who to listen to is as important as bringing the right material. From those who teach you how to tie a knot, to those who help you transform your mindset and performance.
