Teide National Park: Cañadas, the foothills and cliffs of the caldera at the foot of the volcano.

It was declared a park in 1954 and is exactly in the centre of the island of Tenerife and includes the Teide, one of the most famous places is Las cañadas del Teide. At the mouth of the Teide volcano you can see the traces of the last eruptions in the form of black tongues of solidified lava. A striking aspect of the Teide National Park is the variety of colours, ochres and greys that paint the landscape.

Ibones de Anayet

The Anayet lakes are a magical place. Just think what the wall in front of them looks like: the Pico del Anayet. The Anayet Peak is one of the classics of the Pyrenees. Like its neighbour Midi D'Ossau, it owes its origin to volcanic phenomena.

The source of the Bastareny river is in the municipality of Gisclareny, at the Fonts de l'Adou, which are located at an altitude of 1,077 metres. They are located six kilometres from the village of Bagà, in Alt Berguedà, and it is a fairly simple excursion from the forest track that starts at the Pont de Sant Joan bridge.
